Led by an architectural photographer and instructor, this excursion begins by focusing on the magnificent architecture of Union Station and the nearby Thurgood Marshall Judiciary Building. The group will then climb Capitol Hill to photograph the Supreme Court and Library of Congress buildings. Time permitting, the group will go inside and photograph the magnificent interior of the the Great Hall of the Library of Congress. The tour will end by capturing the late afternoon sun as it falls on the west face and on the unique statuary in front of the U.S. Capitol building, on the Peace Monument and the Capitol Reflecting Pool.
