More Details About This Event: Originating from the Pittsburgh area, the brothers moved to south east Florida where they received their education and their vast experience of diverse music.
It was while living in Florida they had the opportunity to work with the great William Boone who found his voice working as the pianist for the late great Lester Young and trumpeter, Blue Mitchell who also recorded Boone's compositions. The opportunity of working with the Boone for ten years has sprouted their jazz roots. The project presents its diversities and attributes in their performances and in their recordings. Currently living and performing in the DC area, they have released their first CD, "pyramids and palms," jazz combo format and are receiving air play and record sales in the north east. Under their own label "inveo," they will soon be releasing a vocal CD titled "and so it goes," jazz trio CD, "whatever it takes," and "M & M," which will be electric jazz. The brothers have shared concert stages with such greats as the duke Ellington band, Richard Elliott, Buster Williams, Nathan Page, Joe Williams, Dizzy and others. "Experience the project."
