Theo Turner is a young cosmologist, but his "big bang" moment doesn't involve astrophysics. When he and his wife travel to the Appalachian South to deliver news to their families about their impending adoption, their world explodes when they find Theo's aging parents are living in a squalid cabin and addicted to crystal meth. With hallucination sequences and a talking lizard hand puppet, Qualities of Starlight is a dark, twisted comedy about the expansion of the universe and the contraction of a troubled family.

Yusef Komunyakaa and Chad Gracia bring new life to one of the world's oldest stories with their compelling verse play Gilgamesh. Part god and part man, King Gilgamesh races the sun and journeys to the ends of the earth on his epic quest to bring his deceased friend Enkidu back to life.
