This was the first opera I have ever attended, and I enjoyed it much more than I expected. Just a great story, powerfully told.

Wonderful orchestra and director. Some singers, the tenor in particular were great, some were mediocre.

Of the three operas that I have seen this season at the Kennedy Center (through Goldstar), Rigoletto was my favorite. I attended a performance with the excellent second cast - Gordon Hawkins (Rigoletto), JiYoung Lee (Gilda), and Alexey Dolgov (The Duke of Mantua).
