Pirandello's comedy classic sparkles in a Mad Men-era Italian village where scandal is on the tip of everyone's tongue. A wildfire of gossip and speculation breaks out when Signor Ponza and his wife move to town and take up residence in a separate house from his mother-in-law. With no regard for privacy, the community of this Italian village decides they must get the inside scoop. What these snoops discover sends them spinning: tales of love-induced trips to the madhouse, secret letters delivered by a bucket on a rope and pulley and even a case of mistaken identity that's been bottled up for years. All is eventually revealed in this hilarious English-language adaptation of Luigi Pirandello's first play, Così è (Se Vi Pare). Learn More

Thank you GoldStar for flagging this performance! This play was hilarious! The entire audience was laughing out loud, clapping along and almost joining into fun of this excellent small stage performance of Moliere's matchmaking farce. Each of the performers brought their unique comedy to their character which made it all the better. I strongly urge everyone to go see this! If I could give more stars I would.
