He also has a soulful tenor voice, and his music offers an appealing blend of soul, jazz, pop and Latin influences. Born in New Mexico, Midón has been blind since infancy, but that hasn't stopped him from recording six critically acclaimed albums. He's performed on the Late Show with David Letterman
