D.C.'s own acclaimed avant-garde performance company force/collision creates a dynamic blend of live action and video projection inspired by British gay rights activist and experimental filmmaker Derek Jarman. Written by Obie Award-winning playwright Caridad Svich and starring John Moletress, this new production explores Jarman's out-of-the-box life and work through the eyes of a young queer artist, and premieres on the 20th anniversary of Jarman's death from AIDS-related causes. A true visionary, Jarman was famed for his non-narrative films, including Tilda Swinton's film debut Caravaggio, along with The Last of England, The Tempest and Blue, as well as his music videos for artists like The Sex Pistols, The Smiths and Pet Shop Boys. This production is set to tour parts of the U.S. and the UK following this run. Learn More

The show to see to escape the stresses of reality The darling of DC "diplomats" representing step all over the world, Step Afrika! always comes home for the holidays! Family-friendly, audience participation encouraged and rousing percussive choreography: whats not to like? In 2014, look for "Green is the New Black", a show with central focus on conservation and sustainability..

The performance was great. The steppers were excellent at their craft and really enjoyed what they did. It was a nice performance.Parking on the other hand is horrible. Have to drive around until a space becomes available or pay $12 to park.
