In this adaptation of Ovid's ancient Greek legend, Philomela's devotion to her beloved sister Procne launches her on a journey of terror and brutality as the sisters attempt to reunite across oceans. Olivier Award-winning playwright Timberlake Wertenbaker's lyrical text is rich with wit, economy and savage theatricality as it tells this tale of two sisters bound by love, violence and betrayal. Directed by Allison Arkell Stockman, this Constellation Theatre Company production features original live music by Tom Teasley. Learn More

This was one of the most interesting productions I have seen in a long time. Engaging and thought provoking.
Nora Ashati stood out among a strong group. A very good cast which worked well together.
While 90 minutes and no intermission the time flew by and I didn't look at my watch once.
Leave time afterwards to discuss the play with your companions as there is much to ponder. Would have enjoyed a post play discussion.
