Many consider this Mozart's most perfect -- and hilarious -- opera. After his marriage to Rosina, the Count's palace becomes a tangled web of love affairs. The pageboy Cherubino courts the Countess while the Count pursues the maidservant Susanna, who is betrothed to the wily Figaro. The Marriage of Figaro is conducted by Patrick Fournillier and set in a gorgeous production originally conceived by Göran Jarvefelt and directed by Harry Silverstein.

The Marriage of Figaro is the #1 favorite opera of many of the most frequent opera-goers; certainly no other opera has better or more easily loved music. This superb production was brilliantly staged and performed. An extreme pleasure! Now that I've enjoyed a virtually perfect Figaro, I may never pay to attend a future production. My future opera-going will be for other, not better, masterpieces.

Great seat! An adequate production of a fun show. Very enjoyable despite the uneven singing and occasional disjoint with the orchestra.
