I expected more cooking demonstrations, learning about recipes that are sophisticated and varied, as well as the latest trends in pairing, plating and cooking, finding out about the latest 'gadgets', especially food processors, pressure cookers, juicers and pastry machines. Instead, the only cooking demonstration was a competition for the beef recipes and most exhibits showcased bottled sauces, dips and desserts. There were two food processor companies, which, I believe utilize the pyramid sale, and are often demonstrating at the supermarkets. I would not attend this show again.
The 1-Day Theater Pass admits you to all cooking demonstrations in the Celebrity Theater on Saturday or Sunday. This ticket includes Marketplace General Admission for the day you choose only. Seating is unreserved and first-come, first-served.
The General Admission ticket is your one-stop shop to experience many of the highlights of the event: cooking demos by regional chefs, tastings, entertaining workshops and the exhibitor marketplace featuring more than 150 vendors selling specialty food products and savvy kitchenware.
