What Will I Experience In The Course?

Part One and Part Two each comprise four sessions and are designed around processes developed at The Foundation for Mind Research and used for the last 25 years in Human Capacities Training Programs taught by Jean Houston and others.

The reading, talks and exercises are designed to:

  • extend and refine your own lenses of body, mind and spirit;
  • help you tap into and orchestrate your hidden creative resources;
  • encourage you to become a partner in co-evolutionary tasks;
  • permit you to perceive the Pattern that Connects;
  • equip you to take action; and
  • enable you to hone your skills for building the earth.
What Will The Sessions Be Like?

You can expect to:

  • feel safe in a sacred space;
  •  explore, learn, and have fun;
  • be challenged;
  • to succeed; and
  • encounter the totally unexpected.
Begin something New!
  • Assume the Imago Dei and humbly but tenaciously educate yourself for sacred stewardship,
  • Acquire the inner capacities that match your outer power!
  • Seek and find physical, mental and spiritual resources needed to partner with the planet!

About Pythagoras' Daughter:

Pythagoras' Daughter - A Mystery School, established by Barbara Bitondo de Arène, designs, develops and delivers educational events that advance individual transformation using a unique blend of Appreciative Inquiry, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Narrative Practice, Earth-Centered Spirituality and Frontier Science Processes. These techniques help to develop a life-giving relationship with the world, called by some a "make-over from the inside, out".

About Woman's National Democratic Club:

The Woman's National Democratic Club was founded in 1922 as the first organization for Democratic women in Washington, DC. Men were granted full voting membership in 1988.

The historic clubhouse is also a museum with beautifully appointed rooms for meetings, receptions, weddings, and other private events. Located in a neighborhood of nineteenth-century and Beaux Arts mansions, the building is a unique transition between Victorian and Arts and Crafts architecture. In 1973 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
