Members Who Went Said:The male playing a female role was disquieting only in the first scene—his/her blonde wig was SMASHING and completed the illusion from then on.
Jean Holman Sir and Lady Teazel were great. It was very cute.
Mary Haley I have seen this play before so I am not new to it. I did not like this version because it was very overdone, overplayed and some of the characters miscast. Sheridan is supposed to be over the top, but this was too much. Tom Story should not have been cast as a woman — it did not work. |
