The day before their 2011 regular season home opener, the Washington Nationals will host NatsFest. This fan-centered event gives Nats supporters the chance to watch the team during an open practice and attend a meet-and-greet with players and coaches. Among other entertainment options at this year's NatsFest: a children's area with kid-friendly activities like a bounce house and face painting, shopping at the Majestic Team Store, and an exhibit of historical memorabilia.

This event was so fun and exciting for us and our kids.It was raining which was the only downside. But there was face painting ,moon bounces, games, and some of the coolest balloon artist they made some of the most detailed balloons Ex. Elmo,octopuses,water guns and much more my kids couldn't believe what they could do with a balloon.They best part was the Mascots Screech of course was #1 but they also had The Rushmores which were huge!!! I would say they were about 9 ft tall we were able to meet the players take photos get autographs...Overall this was one of the most memorable experiences my kids will never forget.Thanks Goldstar for making this so affordable
