Dance Place and THEARC co-present the Youth Dance Festival. Showcasing the next generation of artistic excellence, the festival features the best and brightest youth from the DC Metro area performing a range of dance styles. Groups performing include Baltimore Dance Tech, Dance Place Step Team, Dance Institute of Washington Youth repertory Ensemble, DC Youth Ensemble, Joy of Motion Youth Dance Ensemble, Liz Lerman Dance Exchange/Teen Exchange and Next Movement.

Dance Place is committed to training and developing the budding artists in the area.
