Hear Mussorgsky’s powerful tribute to artist and architect Viktor Hartmann in a uniquely insightful interpretation by pianist Irina Kats. This work, one of the giants of 19th century piano repertoire, will be accompanied by the beautiful but seldom-performed expression of the Russian soul, Songs and Dances of Death (1877), with soprano Jennifer Suess.
