Perhaps most popularly known as the inspiration for the musical My Fair Lady, Flat Earth Theatre presents George Bernard Shaw's classic satire Pygmalion -- exactly 100 years after its 1914 London premiere, newly adapted and directed by local fiction writer and Flat Earth company member Devon Jones. Set in vibrant and multicultural London today, it's the still-relevant battle-of-the-sexes and social-class comedy about arrogant dialect expert Henry Higgins, who makes a bet he can pass off Eliza Doolittle, a flower seller he meets in an Underground station, as a duchess in six months. But he doesn't count on his "creation" having a mind of her own. This irreverent reimagining of Pygmalion is the final production in Flat Earth's 2014 season, Literature in Dystopia. Learn More
