Of all the many versions of the King Arthur legend, Camelot, the stage musical by Lerner and Loewe (My Fair Lady, Brigadoon, Gigi), remains one of the most popular. Pageantry, adventure and some of the most gorgeous melodies of the past century combine in this four-time Tony Award-winning show about the tumultuous love triangle between King Arthur, Queen Guenevere and Sir Lancelot. Coinciding with the 50-year anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy, New Repertory Theatre's production spotlights how human passion and need can threaten youthful idealism and a desire to create a better social order. Tim Spears playing John Merrick did an OUTSTANDING performance. Definitely a must see!!! He has you feeling like you are a part of John Merrick's inner circle. He draws you in slowly and he builds the relationship. The set is minimal and unimpressive, but the acting is superb!!!!
All the seats in the theater are good seats... so no worries!
