With more than 11,000 ocean animals representing nearly 500 species, the Aquarium of the Pacific celebrates the planet's largest and most diverse body of water: the Pacific Ocean. With this offer, you can choose any weekday during afternoon hours (3:00pm-6:00pm) to visit this world-class aquarium featuring a wide array of hands-on activities, live and video presentations, and much more. Check out the BP Sea Otter Habitat -- modeled after their natural habitat -- and meet the otters. Visit the Molina Animal Care Center to watch the animals as they are cared for. You can get up close with more than a dozen Magellanic penguins above and below the water in the new June Keyes Penguin Habitat. This summer, get closer to the animals than ever before with new interactive experiences including the all-new bonnethead shark and cownose ray touchpool in Shark Lagoon; a chance to make and drive a remotely operated vehicle; special behind-the-scenes looks at animal feedings; a new horseshoe crab touch lab; a new exhibit on the Guam Kingfisher (a highly endangered bird) and an immersive exhibit on the Southern California Steelhead, a fish that lives in local rivers. This review has two parts:
1) Performance: The comedy line-up was good; all solid performers with a little bit of something for everyone. The headliner did not disappoint.
2) Venue: If you're on a budget this is NOT the place to go. Beware that they have a two item minimum once you're in the theatre area, so even though the tickets are $10 or $14 dollars, you pay at least another $20 once you're inside the theatre. I understand they need to survive as a business but it was a little over the top (ex. if you order a drink at the bar, it doesn't count towards your two item minimum in the theatre).
Bottom line, the comedy acts ranged from B- to A. If you don't mind a pricey venue, you'll have a great time.
