The parking situation was really bad; too many people and too many lines to wait to sample the food. It was hot inside the studio and almost no space to just stand up to enjoy the food or no time to chat with the chefs.
There are few good intersting foods but be honest, I will only go to two or three of the restaurants for their full menu.
Once we got there they told us to get in the VERY long line. After being in the long line for about 45 minutes and nearly close to the entrance we were told that we needed to get into a different line. 15 minutes later we were pushed in like cattle. The event was fantastic but the lines were horrible. I agree that it should've been held at a much larger location so that people weren't pushing and shoving so much and so confused as to what they were waiting in line for. Aside from that the food was really good and the booze was definitely flowing. The only thing I don't understand is why there was a bar in the middle of the room that was charging folks for drinks when next door they were giving away free waters?! I would go again if it were better organized and at a much larger location.
Good event, but way too crowded. I think LA Weekly oversold the number of tickets to this event.
