HOB makes you wait in line directly behind and downwind of their garbage room. The smell was pretty bad. Then when you get seated, they put goldstar members in the most cramped seats of the house. The food was so-so at best but the gospel group was very good.Written on Sep 05 2011

This was a lot of fun. It was exactly as described, a buffet brunch with a live Gosepl act. It was well organized, the music was good and the food was ample with the typical brunch offerings. The doors opened at 1:00 so you had time to eat prior to the music, the act came on at 2:00 and it ended at 3:00. Food was available the entire time. The music lasted 45 minutes which I thought was a bit short, but we all had a great time.Written on Sep 07 2011

The gospel group made this event. They were awesome! The food was okay nothing spectacular. It's a small venue so there really isn't a bad seat in the house unless you get stuck up stairs you have to travel up and down the stairs to get your food. Luckily that was not us we had great seats. The staff was friendly, inviting and attentive in getting drink orders. Like most venues in LA parking is tight and cost 10 dollars unless you found street parking and were willing to trek up the hill. It was definitely an experience and I am glad I went. The food was only so so which would make me hesitate to go again because it was expensive even with Goldstars discount but a must do at least once experience.Written on Sep 07 2011

The Gospel singers "Starlights" were FANTASTIC!!!!!Written on Sep 07 2011
Extremely dissappointed with the food. Food was cold and tasteless, poor variety. The lighting in the place was VERY dim, could not figure out what some of the food items were.
If it wasn't for the entertainment, it would have been a BIG dissapointment.
