Actually I give this 3 1/2 stars, but Goldstar doesn't accept that. These six short pieces are entertaining. Not every one may work for you, but as a whole they make for an enjoyable evening. Go and have fun.Written on Jul 23 2010

Dr. Barbra Rubin
Among the six vignettes, the weakest one was the birthday dance rehearsal between Jesus and Judas. The choreography was awkward and the timing was quite off. Scott Hinson's "Nelly" was a terrific dosage of comic relief. His body and facial movements were just precious. There were a couple of heavy but riveting pieces of drama supported by a talented cast, especially Chris Sams' Jim at the beginning and Kyle Pierce's Matt Shepard at the end.Written on Jul 21 2010

Description
Like the six barrels in its titular weapon, revolver circles through six scenes displaying the aftermath of emotional and physical violence. Set in the gun-shaped city of West Hollywood and featuring characters such as a closeted movie star, a former drug addict, hate-crime victim Matthew Shepard, and even Jesus Christ and Judas Iscariot, revolver examines the nature of forgiveness and asks what, if anything, is unforgivable.
Written and directed by Chris Phillips
Produced by Chris Phillips & Celebration Tuesdays
Featuring Matt Austin, Jason Boegh, Joe Briggs, Fuz Edwards, Nick Edwards-May, Scott Hinson, Daniel Marks, Kyle Pierce, Chris Sams, Cory Schneider, Rick Simone and Demetrius Thomas.
