Headliner Junior Brown's music combines the soul of country with the spirit of rock n' roll. "A lot of people tell me they don't like country music, but they like what I am doing," says Junior Brown. "I hear that line more than anything else." Billboard Magazine describes his sound as "Don Rich meets Jimi Hendrix meets alien space invaders licks and Ernest Tubb on acid." Junior Brown himself just says that it's "music for everybody."

Hawkeye, a Los Angeles-based quintet, is quickly gaining recognition as the torchbearers of the Americana revival in L.A. Armed with topical story-songs, Hawkeye builds sonic textures, brick-by-brick, on top of a solid base of strong lyrics and poignant points-of-view. They have garnered comparisons to such artists as Jackson Browne, Counting Crows, Ryan Adams and even Bruce Springsteen: "Hawkeye follows the style of Bruce Springsteen, armed with guitars, serious vocals, and a charismatic presence!" thelamusicscene.com

Jim Lauderdale dabbles in R&B, bluegrass and rock and has written songs for George Strait, Mark Chesnutt, Mandy Barnett, Patty Loveless and Vince Gill. Lauderdale's alt-country sound reverberates with originality while paying sincere tribute to its classic country roots.
