I went along with a group, expecting only to be amused, entertained and perhaps tickled (yes, there is nudity)... In addition to all of the above, I found myself moved to tears by the deep emotional currents running through this very fine play. Unless you are easily shocked, go and see this well-cast work. Highly recommended.Written on Oct 11 2010

This Tony Award winning play does not disappoint for one moment. It is riveting theatre and this is my second time seeing it at the Celebration Theatre. The acting, dialogue and over all performances are wonderful. Not to be missed!!!Written on Jan 18 2011

Description
Darren Lemming is the star center fielder for the champion New York Empires. An extraordinary athlete, he fills both his fans and his teammates with awe at his abilities and his presence on and off the field. When he makes the matter-of-fact announcement that he's gay, he throws his team into turmoil and confusion, while he also emboldens his closeted accountant, Mason Marzac, to come to terms with his own sexuality — and to fully experience the pure joy of watching great athletes play baseball.
