More Information
The Animatronics
“The band comes across like a pop-savvy hybrid of early Adam and the Ants and Devo, and it delivers the goods from open to close! Its crunchy, bouncy, jerky new wave anthems marry memorable melodies with a wild sense of humor and a bizarre disposition. The Animatronics revisit the glory days of new wave and mines a whole big bag's worth of jumpy, jagged hooks. And it does it with zing! Awesome!” --Now Wave E-Zine

The Dirty Diamond
The music is raw, emotional, good old fashioned rock and roll without emo or indie embellishments. Their rough, honest vocals and strong lyrics pay tribute to early Southern rock, the blues and classic rock. For all the classic influences of their sound, they create something thoroughly modern. The Dirty Diamond is becoming well known in the L.A. area for their energetic shows; too-cool-for-school hipster kids have even been known to break into dance. Every show tends to be slightly different as they perform with a variety of skilled bassists, occasional pianists, harmonica players, gospel-style back-up singers, and more. For more, click here.
Visa
Visa is old-soul, take-you-to-another-place music–an eight-member, world music phenomena. It’s poignantly emotive, hard-charging, no-boundary folk that’ll lift you out of your seat whether you’re a hard-to-please grandparent or a punk-rocking prep. Every piece–percussion, duduk, three guitars, keys, drums, bass and voice–fits in just so. For more, click here.
