A couple of the actors, particularly Ms. Pennywise, were pretty good, but other kids struggled with their parts. It is very difficult to be able to do something that mixes comedy, satire, dancing and singing, so I give the kids a lot credit.

This is a great show! The performance was full of energy. The actors in the featured roles were fantastic! You will be seeing these kids on Broadway one day soon!

More Information

Don’t let the name fool ya! Look beyond the title and see the show for what it really is, a highly satirical comedy musical that pokes fun not only at itself, but at the Broadway Musical genre as a whole. Some of the musicals spoofed by this talented cast will include “Annie,” “West Side Story,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “A Chorus Line,” “Evita,” “The Lion King,” “Chicago,” and “Les Miserables.” There are many, many others as well and even though the story satirizes such serious topics as the legal system, capitalism, populism, social irresponsibility, corporate greed and mismanagement, bureaucracy, and municipal politics, above all it is just plain FUN. Look way past the basic premise of paying-to-pee and just have a great laugh at the intricacies and unconventionality of the overall concept
