The Woodland Opera House Theatre Company presents this humorous and touching play about love and the power of reconciliation. At 51, charmingly irresponsible press agent Scottie Templeton discovers that he has fallen fatally ill. Faced with this harsh new reality, Scottie's sole concern is to make friends with his estranged son, Jud, whom he has alienated through years of neglect. Their newfound relationship proves a tough yet transformative experience for both father and son, giving Scottie the courage to be re-hospitalized for treatment and Jud the strength to forgive his father and honor him with one final act of tribute.
