As Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore reached across death's divide with the strength of their love (and the help of a storefront psychic) in the Oscar-winning film Ghost, audiences across the world fell head over heels for this supernatural romance. Now, Ghost the Musical, adapted for the Broadway stage by the Academy Award-winning writer of the film, revives all the memorable magic of the tragic love story. This production also boasts the addition of an original pop score written by multiple Grammy winners Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and Glen Ballard, co-writer of Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill. Quotes & Highlights
The evening will include a virtual tour of the mighty Wurlitzer.
This special presentation will transport the audience back in time to the early years of Poli’s Palace Celebrate The Hanover Theatre’s Mighty Wurlitzer! Now, as the theatre’s mighty 2,400-pipe Wurlitzer organ nears completion, today’s audiences can feel that same wonder at the sheer power and capability of this impressive instrument. This evening, hosted by The Hanover Theatre benefactor, Mary C. DeFeudis, will also feature Boston favorites Kathy St. George, and Brian DeLorenzo, as well as organist Jonathan Ortloff, winner of the American Theatre Organ Society’s 2008 Young Theatre Organist Competition.
