Oh, what fun it is to hear the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra with conductor Keith Lockhart perform their signature Sleigh Ride, along with other holiday classics and new arrangements of seasonal favorites. Even Santa Claus himself wouldn't miss the Boston Pops Holiday Concert, a beloved tradition that captures the magic of the Christmas season and the winter charms of New England. Santa'll make a guest appearance during the finale, followed by the annual festive Boston Pops Holiday Sing-a-long. Learn More

The interweaving of martial arts fighting sequences into the show, I thought, was really entertaining. It reminds me of the martial arts movie fight sequences as well as "The Matrix" kicks, jumps and tumbles. Other than this, the show seemed to be on a dress rehearsal. While the crowd was forgiving for the few acrobatic faux pas, I still would rather have seen a show where I know perfection is a hard goal. All in all, it was entertaining enough for children but not as spectacular as positioned.
