What A World features live footage of Boston's eclectic musicians' collective DÜNYA. The film presents the ensemble's concert performance of 20th century Turkish music, as well as interviews and insights into the surprising cultural and musical links between Boston and Turkey. DÜNYA, which takes its name from the Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Greek word for "world," has explored a wide range of music from around the world since its 2004 debut. The diverse group includes specialists in early European and Jewish music, jazz and contemporary pop sounds. Members will be on-hand for brief discussions before and after the screening. Learn More

5 of us went to Mechanics Hall, Worcester to see the China National Symphony Orchestra and it was wonderful. We were on the back row, but who cares you are there to listen and feel the power of the music! I would go again.
