The Theatre was not air conditioned in the balcony which made it difficult to enjoy the performance..... Also, the seats said it would be lower balcony and we were not lower but rather the higher end of the middle and the rows are very steep.......

Three of the world’s best Elvis Presley Tribute Artists take you on a musical journey through the different eras of the King of Rock and Roll. Starring Donny Edwards (‘50s Elvis); Ryan Pelton (‘60s Elvis); and Doug Church (‘70s Elvis)

2006 & 2007 “Tribute to the King” Grand Champion
Featured Finalist Last Year On ABC TV’s “The Next Best Thing: Who Is The Greatest Celebrity Impersonator”

"It's Elvis!!!" scream many folks when they first see Donny Edwards--they can't believe their eyes. His strong resemblance to the King has gotten him acclaim throughout the world. But Edwards is not just another pretty face. His voice is just as outstanding. He recreates--in every detail--the look, voice, moves, and stage presence of Elvis Presley from the young 1950s rock ‘n’ roll icon to the Vegas Elvis of the 1970s. Edwards started performing in 2002 in Texas when his family talked him into joining a local Elvis Impersonator Contest—the first of many such contests he has won throughout the US.

Donny is the most sought out young Elvis Tribute Artist in the country, and while Edwards performs daily in Las Vegas, he has also appeared around the world in such exotic places as Argentina, Cancun, and Hong Kong and recently had a role singing on the soap opera, "The Young and The Restless." He won the Gibson Guitar Company’s 2005 People's Choice Award for the Best ‘50s Elvis, and Edwards was voted 2006 and 2007 Grand Champion of “Tribute To The King” at the Isle of Capri in Mississippi where he performed with the legendary Jordanaires. He was also invited to Mississippi in June, 2005 where he performed at the Tupelo Festival commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Elvis returning to his birthplace. He now performs quite often with The Jordanaires, The Sweet Inspirations and DJ Fontana.

He is a versatile performer with the ability to re-create each era of Elvis Presley’s life. Donny’s performance is dynamic, as he brings you back to the early years of the 50’s with his Gold Lame jacket and songs of the movie years, to the sexy, black leather '68 Comeback years, ending with the legendary Vegas years. Donny maintains a performance of incredible authenticity. His incredible look, singing, humbleness, charm and southern speaking voice will make you feel like you are with the King. After receiving a degree in computer science from Ohio State University he worked at a graphic design company. While growing up, everyone always told him how much he resembled Elvis, and after years of hearing the comments, he took an interest in trying to sing like the man that everyone mentioned he resembled so much.

In 1998, Ryan's mom sent him an entry form and dared him to enter a contest. He entered and took first place. It was then Ryan took his talent to a different level and studied everything he could about the King. After winning several other titles and performing shows in venues across the county, he decided this was the career he was destined for.

Dick Clark--who was amazed at Ryan's looks--selected him to play shows across the country at various venues that Clark owned.

Today, Ryan Pelton is an internationally-known, award-winning, Elvis entertainer. He has traveled throughout the US and in countries all over the world. In addition to performing with the nationally known show " Legends in Concert", Ryan has had the opportunity to portray Elvis in a major film starring Dakota Fanning. He recently performed live with Celine Dion on Fox TV's "American Idol," and also appears as Elvis in a Volvo commercial seen internationally. Ryan also was a contestant on "The Weakest Link" with other Elvis Tribute Artist's and won the grand prize.

Ryan has been able to tour while working at the Legends Theatre--at times with the people closest to Elvis such as, DJ Fontana, The Jordanaires, The Imperials and The Sweet Inspirations.

Doug Church

Doug Church began his Elvis career in the U.S. Air Force in 1983 while competing against hundreds of other contestants and winning annual talent contests. Starting at the base level and proceeding through to the regional levels, he defeated the best entertainers from many bases in the European and U.S. Air Force commands. In four years, he collected 11 first place trophies for his well-developed likeness to Elvis, as well as other categories ranging from best male vocalist to best comedic performance.

After leaving the Air Force in 1987, Doug continued his act around the Midwest. In 1990, he competed for the first time in the fourth annual Worldwide Elvis Impersonator Contest in Memphis, Tennessee against Elvis entertainers from all over the world, and took home the second place prize. The following year, Doug returned to Memphis to capture the first place crown as "The World’s Best Elvis Impersonator." In 1993, after a successful audition with Legends In Concert (a musical entertainer venue based in Las Vegas, Nevada) he started touring the country and the world. Doug has performed in such exotic locations as: Bangkok, Hong Kong, Aruba, The Bahamas, Moscow, France, The United Kingdom, and Denmark.

In 1999, Doug starred in and performed soundtrack vocals for the award winning documentary film "Almost Elvis." Doug still works with Legends in Concert from time to time, but prefers to freelance and do the shows that won him acclaim throughout the Midwest. It may be hard to imagine how anyone could possibly duplicate 70 different voice personalities with perfection, but Doug Church can! He has awed his audiences for 19 years, leaving them totally mesmerized and shaken by one of those voices in particular -- that of Elvis Presley!
