This original production is Alice like you've never seen before—full of surprises and twists on the classic story! A 2005 Stephen Schwartz/ASCAP national award winner based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll, this modern adaptation is presented by students ages 8-18 of Christian Youth Theater (Lake County).

More Details About This Event:

Alice is a young teenager who loves the band The Red Queen and dislikes a homework assignment from her teacher, Miss Turtle. She and her sister (dressed as a white rabbit for a costume party) attempt to escape a grounding and fall down, down, down into a topsy-turvy world. This production marks the Midwest premiere.

Recommended for grades 4-12.

About Christian Youth Theater:

CYT is an after-school theater arts education program for kids ages 6-18, offering classes in voice, dance and drama in the McHenry, Lake, Kane, DuPage, Northwest Cook County and Rockford areas. Enrolled 8+ students can also audition for fully staged musical productions. Week-long summer camps are offered in 30 locations for kids 5-18. CYT offers students an opportunity to develop their talents, interact with friends and learn to be a positive member of their community.
