South Beach -- or SoBe, as its known to the locals -- is famous for its stunning 1930s-style architecture, with its gorgeous pastel-colored Art Deco, Streamline and Nautical Moderne buildings appearing in countless movies and TV shows. But SoBe is also at the heart of the city's art and beach culture, and Bike and Roll Miami has the perfect way to explore it all: on a Segway. This fun and easy ride, suitable for all fitness levels, is led by a knowledgeable guide, who'll fill you in on the history of the area and point out all the hot spots. The 2-to-3-hour excursion takes off from the Art Deco district, where you'll visit the Versace mansion, also known as the Casa Casuarina, then continues on to the historic Lincoln Road Theater, the Holocaust Memorial, the Botanical Gardens and Bass Art Museum. After an optional dip in the ocean at Nikki Beach, the tour hits a local restaurant/bar to wet your whistle after the ride.

Our family of 4 went on the Art deco Segway tour on May 21st. very good job by the company getting everything ready to go on time. The staff was very friendly, even allowing us to leave some of our things at the facility.Written on May 21 2012
Our guide, Andrea was very patient making sure everyone was comfortable on their respective Segway's. She did an excellent job taking us through South Beach stopping plenty of times to share some of hte South Beach history with the group. very knowledgeable and friendly. very nice time.
