Morris Day and The Time & Cameo
Two '80s funk legends -- Morris Day and The Time and Cameo -- join forces for a night of jams. Formed and produced by Prince, The Time has sold more than 10 million records to date, scoring a string of hits in the '80s, including "Jungle Love," "The Bird," "Jerk Out," "Get It Up," "Cool" and "Girl." Now, after winning a new generation of fans with their appearance in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and a performance at the Grammys with Rihanna in 2008, The Time is back and hitting the stage at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater. Also performing is Cameo, bringing their soul-infused funk on hits like "Word Up!," Candy" and "Back and Forth." Band leader Larry Blackmon went on to produce records by chart-topping artists such as Bobby Brown, Chaka Kahn and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Now Cameo is once again bringing the funk, so get ready to kick it old school with these two funk giants.
