How was your experience?
ImprovAsylum proved to be a great night. I was surprised to find such talented young performers at a hole-in-the-wall venue in Boston's North End, but the cast was young, fun, edgy and very creative. I also enjoyed the mix of rehearsed sketches with impromptu skits based on audience suggestions. The combo gave the show a nice flow and ensured that at least something would be funny! Definitely not a show for the prude aunt visiting from out of town, nor the kids, as it can get a little sexy and since drinks are allowed in the theater, the crowd can get a bit rowdy, but a great idea for a friends night out, group event or date night. They do have a bar, so no need to pregame too much and located right on Hanover Street, it's a cinch to grab a delicious Italian meal, a slice of pizza or a yummy cannoli before or after the show.
