How was your experience?
Perfect taste of zany cabaret comedy, painted with a very broad stroke, and enunciated carefully just so you don't miss any of the jokes. I saw it years ago, and enjoyed it again in its latest rendition, because of the sheer joy the performers convey. Some of them are actually pretty funny. It was all the more enjoyable knowing we'd paid half price for the tickets! It's a pretty small venue, and regardless of where you seat, you'll have a good view, so don't be afraid to get the rear cabaret area seats. They serve glasses of wine, beer, or coffee, and the menu also offers chocolates, pretzels and biscotti for snacks. As other reviewers have mentioned, the seats are not very comfy -- small wooden chairs with minimal cushioning. But half way through the performance, they must have opened the doors to the outside because we were all freezing to death. It took me a couple of hours to warm up afterward! Definitely take extra jackets or sweaters, just in case, and if you can, perhaps take a stadium cushion...
