How was your experience?
The Boston Ballet did a wonderful job with Sleeping Beauty. The sets, costumes and music were amazing. The prince on our night was a little rough at the start but was dancing very well by the last act. Also Parents, please remind your children eat their snacks during the intermissions. We had some children in back of us who had to open, eat, and spill M&Ms during the third act. In terms of story ballets, I thought Cinderella this season was better overall compared to Sleeping Beauty. But the clearly the top piece so far this season was Black & White which was utterly brilliant. We'll see if Ballets Russes can top it in two weeks! (Either way, the Ballet will be performing Black & White again at the end of next season - May 2010. Catch it if you missed it this season!) Lastly this is the last season of the Ballet to be hosted at the Wang. They will be moving to the Opera House starting in September.
