How was your experience?
The goodie bag consists of both full-size and sample size products. Most of the products are body related products such as body lotion, hand lotion, etc. If you like surprises and enjoy sampling various products then you should spend the extra money to get the goodie bag. However, if you like specific products and don't like to try new things, then save your money. The vendors are mostly independent jewelers and speciality boutique stores from the local area selling clothing, handbags, and accessories. There were a few vendors selling hair tools, with product demostrations. There were definitely a good selection of alcohol, mostly beers and cocktails. Some you can sample, others you take the whole bottle with you. There were a few food vendors, with sampling opportunities. The crowd is what you would expect, cosists of 99 percent women, very diverse in terms of race, age, and socio-economic status. The venue is old and crowded. The flow of traffic is far from smooth and there were definitely some pushing and shoving. There is no such thing as personal space. I think it's a fun place to go to to support local stores and lesser known jewelers. It's great for girls who like to shop and just to check out stuff. Like most places, there were some low-end products but you never know what you will find. So take a couple of hours and find your inner fashionista and go explore, at least try it once.
