How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
I went when it was cloudy and it was still as nice and fun (and cold!) as everyone else has reported. The bar has a modest list of offerings and there is no food sold on board. I saw someone eating a little snack over her lap that she brought herself. There are no tables but there are places to sit down. As we were underway, they asked for volunteers to help raise one of the sails. You don't have to, obviously, but they were very impressed and grateful when I stepped up. They said they always ask but I think I was the first to take them up on it. Be advised that raising a sail is VERY aerobic! Because the weather was iffy the day before with forecasts for more of the same on the day I was to go, I called their office, 212.619.0907, and the woman who answered was extremely helpful. She offered to call me when they knew if they were sailing or not and she did! The crew and captain were open and accessible and liked talking about their ship and sailing in general. If you like boats or being anywhere near or on the water, this is a terrific fix.

Help others enjoy a great night out
