How was your experience?
The parking was very good and close with the added bonus of not having to pay for it like some of the other derby events I have been to. Most things including snack bar only take cash so be aware of bringing enough of it if you plan to eat, participate in raffles or get a souvenir. By the way, snack bar people aren't really thrilled to be there so be prepared for an attitude. The general derby staff was decent though and the balloon roller girls were fantastic! Bring a jacket! The fans are blowing full force from above on the audience members and it was pretty uncomfortable. I also agree with another lady that reviewed that it would have been nice for them to tell you that under age persons were not allowed in the front row before the game began, not in the middle of the first half. So if you are bringing kids, be aware. As for the derby bout, LA rocked! I enjoyed watching them on the track and a few of their players attempts to get the crowd going lol. I would definitely go to see them in again at the LA location. Roller derby is a great sport that everyone should see at least once in their life even if you don't think you will like it. It actually is real, not a fake hitting show.
