How was your experience?
Went to a Sunday 2pm showing, Front Balcony section. Lesson learned: Go early! Door opens an hour before the show; we arrived half an hour before show time and were relegated to the seats at the very end of the row. By the end of the show, my neck was hurting! Bring padding for the seats: The seats are very uncomfortable and small. Be friendly: There is not much room to move around since 6 people are seated around a small round table in my section, so my knees were touching my neighbor’s all through the show Bring ear plugs: The singers are great, but sometimes it’s louder than tolerable. I saw few kids pushed their fingers into their ears a number of times….wished I could do it without hurting actor’s feelings. Contents: The songs changed a bit abruptly. I was expecting to be blown away, but was finding it amusing but that’s about it. Now to the GOOD stuff: Small theater, you can see many details, loved the expressive facial expressions of the actors. Good singing, enthusiastic actors. Fun costumes. The End: It’s a SF tradition, you got to do it at least once. Don’t pay full price, use Goldstar.
