How was your experience?
The cruise was great. The food was awesome. I’m a teacher from the Midwest- who lives in New York City every summer. For the past two summers I’ve taken my mom and sister on this cruise. Out of town guest LOVE this night out. Also – it’s a great way to show them lower Manhattan including the Statue of Liberty and the East River bridges. The Goldstar price for this event is a real winner. My contact at Spirit Cruise Lines couldn’t even get me this rate. The food was excellent this year. Mind you- it’s “hotel food” but this year featured a carving station with superbly cooked prime rib and ham. Warning – the drinks are expensive - $7 beers and $15 cocktails. I recommend having a happy hour stop prior to the boat. Bring a jacket- even in July- the port of New York gets a little chilly.
