How was your experience?
This was a good way to fritter away an hour or so. I thought the beginning of the show where the singers were wearing fro' wigs was kind of hokey, but their singing was better than average. I was disappointed to see a white woman singing Motown. She had a good enough voice, but trying to pull herself off as one of the Supremes with a black wig didn't lend itself to authenticity. The show ended like the beginning, hokey, with a redition of "We are the World" and the singers had some kids on stage, who would have rather eaten a live snake than been standing up there holding hands with other kids they didn't know. But, we had terrific seats, and it was a fun time. The singers seemed to be enjoying themselves and while individually, none of them were that great, collectively it was a good show.
