How was your experience?
This is such a fun tour. The guide had a lot of information to share. He discussed the different styles of carvings and how that changed from when the church was first built through to present day. Definitely bring binoculars (you can buy an inexpensive set in the Cathedral gift shop). It will help immensely while looking at the grotesques. Though should you not have a set, the guide does have a book of photos so you can get a better idea. Also, give yourself some extra time (either before or after the tour) to walk around the grounds and the Cathedral itself. Parts are absolutely breathtaking.
