How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
Energetic, fun and fast paced! The song arrangements were done well to keep our interest. Sam Phillips character very good, held it all to-gether. Jerry Lee fantastic. The main actors and the back up excellent musicians as well as singers.Since Elvis is my personal favorite, I was a little disappointed to see him presented as shy and retiring. Expected more swagger, more hips. But perhaps he is being portrayed as he was at that time. Loved Johnny Cash's voice...and after the play, we went to a bar and they were playing Johnny Cash! Guess his music has lasted after all this time! Interesting to know the story behind Elvis doing "Blue Suede Shoes." This music was my music in high school, so it was a special treat to hear it, and to see how much energy that the cast put into the production. I agree with some reviewers who commented on the sound...we were sitting off to the side and it was difficult to get all the words in Carl Perkins or Elvis' songs...got all the words in Cash's. Glad to have seen this play. Very upbeat, and made us dance in our seats!

Help others enjoy a great night out
