How was your experience?
I enjoyed this event. It wasn’t that scary and didn’t last very long, but I think the fact that my boyfriend and I were in a small group, with only two other couples, made it seem scarier. As I said, it was a short event. It lasted about 25-30 minutes, with 10 of that being used up by the movie/”documentary”. I am easily scared, so I was jumping at the slightest sounds and movements. Both I and another lady nearly jumped out of our skins when one of the workers grabbed the back of our legs. Also as it is basically pitch black inside – except for the pitiful light provided by the mini glow sticks they give you – it seemed extra creepy. Some of those wax figures look extra creepy in the dark. The one complaint I have is that no one told us when the tour was over. My group was standing in the last room for a few minutes while three workers stood in front of the exit pretending not to see us. Maybe it was part of the act, because it was a bit creepy. All in all, it was fun but I would not pay full price for tickets; thank goodness for Goldstar!
