How was your experience?
Cobb's was a great venue - clean, most seats are close enough to the stage and the drinks and food - while not cheap - are fairly priced. I would certainly return to see another comedian. Regarding Paul Mooney - I was disappointed. His entire routine is based on "I hate white people" and it just gets old. I get it, that's his thing and that is fine - no surprise there. But it simply wasn't that funny most of the time. I'm all for raw humor - and some parts were great - but most simply weren't and he seemed genuinely angry. Heck, I thought the two openers for him very funnier. I think this tends to happen with established comedians - they have their thing, their set routine and they go full force and whoever is in, is in, whoever is not on board - he gives you the big F-you. Anyhow - it was still fun but we were happy to leave and go home.
