How was your experience?
We booked the 9:00 p.m. seating for the "Jimmy Vivino Quartet & New Year's Eve Bash". Upon arrival we were informed that our table was in ANOTHER ROOM adjacent to the concert room and this was o.k. because the door would be left open and after dinner we could come in and "dance", i.e. try to find somewhere to stand in a small crowded room. To their credit, they refunded our admission (not including service charge) immediately and we left before the event started. Obviously this was a disaster. The only good thing I can say is that Vitello's management acted very professionally when we expressed our surprise and dissatisfaction. Because of that, and because the actual concert room looked like a decent intimate space, we might consider coming back to see a jazz act that we were interested in. But we would call to confirm seating first!
