How was your experience?
The actual aquarium was great to walk through-it can be pretty quick for adults but it is good for kids. There is a short exhibit upstairs and downstairs has the tunnel with surrounding fish, sharks, etc. When you exit the elevator upstairs there is another small exhibit where you can touch a stingray and starfish. Pretty cool for the little ones. I prefer the Academy of Sciences but this one is good for out of towners because of all the shops and on a nice day the views of the bay are spectacular. A side note/complaint on customer service at the aquarium: I didn't print out my confirmation (make sure you do this) as it states on the email. They will NOT let you in without this. This is a huge pain because you have to go all over the place looking for the California Welcome Center which is where you can print out your email if you forget it. The 'manager' and others at the aquarium were NOT helpful at all, just telling us 'go through the gift shop and it's to the right' which was incorrect information. Especially difficult when you have a stroller! Once over this slight bump, the day was great!
