Assigned at Box Office
How was your experience?
This was a really fun event for my 11-year-old daughter and her friend -- who are complete Vampire Diaries fanatics -- and I enjoyed the glimpse into the creative process described by the show's writer/producers. As for our experience at the theater itself, our circumstances may be somewhat unique. It was pouring rain so we didn't get to the theater until 10 minutes before showtime. The woman in the box office could see I was a little harried after driving an hour in the deluge, and was incredibly kind. When I asked, "I don't know if the show is sold out, but if there's any way you could put these little girls a little closer to the stage it would mean a lot to them," she responded by sending the girls to the front of the orchestra section -- literally 3 rows from the stage!! I've attached a photo of my daughter asking the cast a question during the Q&A. This will be a night she remembers for the rest of her life, so thank you! From my perspective, it proves that every once in a while it doesn't hurt to ask for what you want. And from the theater's perspective, it shows how little acts of kindness can create huge customer loyalty. I will now attend any show at the Saban Theater, and I will recommend the PaleyFest experience to all my friends. And it bears mentioning I wouldn't have even heard about PaleyFest had it not been for Goldstar!!
