How was your experience?
Top notch orchestra and singers. Very effective staging with exception of the final scene. "The party's over - wrecked banquet setting" (with furnishing direct from the LB Convention center) and harsh lighting was a distraction and with little character blocking, it was hard to tell who was singing at times. The lack of skilled ushers was annoying. The line to get to orch seats was out the front door because they had one slow usher taking a thousand tickets. The ushers didn't know to close the double house doors to block the daylight in the lobby and they held one scene for that. It took me standing in three lines to find a tiny scribbled note that said Goldstar will call. Great performance - Awful house management.
