How was your experience?
Our whole evening was really excellent, and we had a great time. I'd heard Pancho on CDs and the radio many times, but this was the first time I'd seen him live. I actually like the long-table seating arrangement, as we met so many nice people. In fact, one couple had seen him eight times previously...and I can see why. The food was good, the service was equally good, and friendly too. Limited menu, but enough choices. Some other reviewers stated that you don't get a choice of where to sit; that was actually the first thing the hostess asked us--where we'd like to sit. We attended the first show, at 7:30. We got there at 7:00 which was plenty of time to get seated where we wanted which was right up front. The music was wonderful, and I hadn't realized that his combo consists of eight musicians, most of whom play several instruments. You could see the great rapport among them, and as another reviewer mentioned, it was great fun hearing Pancho's stories. My biggest fear was that we'd be blasted out, due to the volume being up too high; it couldn't have been more ideal, considering the room size. We're headed back to Vitello's the next time Pancho's there.
